Ashton Rudkin is one of three of Sean Alderson's young prospects who has worked his way into the roster, regularly. Being it his first ever step up to the senior levels, we spoke to him about his experience so far and what he is looking for during the rest of the season.

'My experience with the NIHL Blaze so far has been an amazing experience...' said Rudkin.'Getting the chance to play with the senior team and be a part of the team has done me a lot of favours on and off the ice.'

'There are definitely a lot of differences between the juniors and the seniors. Taking the jump to the seniors has shown me how much fast ther game can be played at.'

Looking to the rest of the season, Rudkin said 'My goals for the rest of the season are to hopefully get a few more points under my belt whilst we, as a team, climb our way through to the playoffs.'

'I definitely think, in the second half of the season, we can push for that second spot in the table, if not, the top of the table.'
