We can today confirm that Defenseman Sean O'Neill has taken an opportunity to join NIHL1 North Side, Solihull Barons.

O'Neill has iced for the NIHL Blaze over the past couple of seasons and has been a staple of the defence core and special teams. Over his two seasons, O'Neill has iced in forty-five games and scoring four goals and eight assists in his tenure. Most famously, the penalty shoot-out winner versus the Sutton Sting to grab us our first victory against the Sting in six seasons. This past season, O'Neill was awarded the Assistant Captaincy, the Most Improved Player of the Year award and collected a Gold Medal at the Development Cup, icing for Team Ireland.
