IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the return of 23-year-old defenceman, Daniel Upton, for the 2025/26 season.

Upton, a product of the Blaze Academy, registered 2 points (2 assist), and 20 penalty-minutes in 32 appearances for the NIHL Blaze last season.

On re-signing for the NIHL Blaze Upton said…

“I’m really excited to be back for another season with the NIHL Blaze and I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice and competing for the title this year.”

“I feel like we can improve on the positive season we had last year and I also feel I am in the best condition I’ve been in going into pre-season.”

“We are working hard as a team in training and I can’t wait to see what we can do together during pre-season.”
