IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the return of 27-year-old forward, Tom Brooke-Smith, for the 2025/26 season.

Brooke-Smith, who returns for his fifth season with the club, registered 12 points (6 goals, 6 assists), and 24 penalty-minutes in 24 appearances for the NIHL Blaze last season.  

On re-signing for the NIHL Blaze Brooke-Smith said…   “It’s an honour to return for another season with the NIHL Blaze, with a strong roster taking shape I’m proud to be part of this team.”

“While last year brought its share of disappointments it also provided some valuable lessons and I’m determined to use the experience from last year as motivation to take that extra step towards securing some silverware.”  

“There’s some new faces in the room, which will bring fresh energy and healthy competition for places and Sean will no doubt have some difficult decisions to make throughout the season.”

NIHL Blaze Head Coach, Sean Alderson said…  “I’m pleased to have Tom back for another season, he’s an intelligent player that buys-in and commits  to our systems and game plans.”
