
The Player of the Year Returns
Harrison Sumner is back for his fourth season with the team.

The IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the return of 20-year-old forward, Harrison Sumner, for the 2024/25 season.
Sumner, who collected the ‘Player of the Year’ award at the end of season awards night, registered 23 points (15 goals, 8 assists), and 12 penalty-minutes in 29 appearances last season.
On resigning for the NIHL Blaze Sumner said…
“I am looking forward to returning for my forth season with the club. Last season was a massive achievement for us and we will be looking to build on that and bring some silverware home this season.”
NIHL Blaze Head Coach, Sean Alderson said…
“Harrison has shown great progress during his time with the NIHL Blaze and last season proved to be a breakout season for him, leading the team in goals and picking up the ‘Player of the Year’ award. So, as you would expect, we are delighted to have him back.”
