IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the return of 18-year-old forward, Ashton Rudkin, for the 2025/26 season.

Rudkin, who returns for his third season with the NHL Blaze, registered 8 points (5 goals, 3 assists) and 12 penalty-minutes in 18 appearances last season.

On re-signing for the NIHL Blaze Rudkin said…

“I’m really excited to be back with the NIHL Blaze for another season.”

“Last year was a big step for me, making the move up from juniors and I learned a lot in my first senior year.”

“I’m now ready to build on that experience and contribute even more this season.”

“We’ve got a strong group, and I truly believe we can push for that top spot in the league.”

NIHL Blaze Head Coach, Sean Alderson said…

“Last season was Ashton’s first senior season with us and he showed both good patience and progress throughout the season, taking his opportunities when they came.”

“This season we expect him to continue that progress, playing a bigger role in the process.”
