This weekend, we are set to take on the Telford Tigers in the NIHL2 North Playoff Semi-Finals.

Last weekend, we booked our ticket into the next round of the NIHL2 Playoff campaign after a quarter-final victory over the Altrincham Aces. The weekend played host to the two-leg affair with both teams playing once home and once away with the combination of the scores, being the final score.

We had our home game first up on Saturday night which we managed to grind out a hard fought 4-3 win in after being down for most of the game. Which was followed up on the Sunday, in Widnes, by a 1-3 away win to beat the Aces 7-4 on aggregate.

In the out of town scoreboards; the Billingham Buccaneers beat the Kingston Sharks, the Telford Tigers beat the Sheffield Titans and the Sutton Sting beat the Nottingham Lions which sets up the Semi-Finals as follows:

Telford Tigers (1) v Coventry NIHL Blaze (4)

Sutton Sting (2) v Billingham Buccaneers (3)

The Semi-Finals will follow the same process as the previous round with both teams playing once home and once away with aggregate scoring determining a finalist who will advance to the Playoff Final Weekend in Sheffield.
