IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the signing of 35-year-old forward, Nick Alley, for the 2025/26 season.

Alley, who returns to competitive league hockey following a number of seasons playing recreational hockey, joins the NIHL Blaze with seven seasons experience of playing in NIHL 2 South where he accumulated 197 points (102 goals, 95 assists) in 137 appearances.

On signing for the NIHL Blaze Alley said… “I wanted to join a team that had a chance of challenging for silverware and after just a few sessions seeing the level of the team and the setup at the club I am confident we’ve got all the tools to do that.”

NIHL Blaze Head Coach, Sean Alderson said… “While Nick hasn’t played league hockey for a number of seasons he will bring extensive experience to the group having played seven seasons in NIHL 2 South for Lee Valley, Peterborough and Haringey.”

“Having captained Lee valley for three of the five seasons he was there he will also bring some additional leadership to the group.”
