IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the signing of 30-year-old forward, Connor McNaughton, for the 2025/26 season.

McNaughton, who was a member of last season’s treble winning Telford Tigers 2 side, registered 39 points (9 goals, 30 assists), and 16 penalty-minutes in 32 appearances last season.

On signing for the NIHL Blaze McNaughton said…

“I am really happy to sign for the Coventry NIHL Blaze, a team closer to home that I have played for in the past.”

“Having played with most of the lads before, be it in the juniors or seniors they have made me feel right at home these past few weeks.”

“Playing in Telford over the past 2 seasons I feel my game has improved massively and I’m ready to bring that back over to Coventry.”

“Sean looks like he’s creating a very competitive roster, one I feel can push for a top spot in the league and fight for silverware come the end of the season.”

“Standing over 6’ he also brings some additional size to our offense line-up and capable of playing on either the wing or down the middle he will provide us with options.”
