Coventry NIHL Blaze return to the Skydome this Saturday as they welcome Sutton Sting in what promises to be a huge early-season test.

The Blaze come into the fixture with five points from their opening two games, following a 4-2 victory over Bradford Bulldogs before taking two points from a 3-2 overtime win against the Billingham Buccaneers.

Standing in their way are a Sutton side who have made a perfect start to the campaign. The Sting currently sit top of the NIHL 2 North table, having won all of their opening five games, including victories over Billingham, Nottingham, Kingston, Deeside and Bradford.

That makes Saturday's clash an early opportunity for the Blaze to test themselves against the current league leaders and close the gap at the top of the table. With home ice advantage behind them, Coventry will be looking to produce another strong performance and get back to winning ways.

The two sides will meet at the Skydome Arena, with the puck dropping at 6:30pm on Saturday 26th September.
