IPD Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the return of 24-year-old forward, Oliver Harris, for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

Harris, who iced twelve times for the NIHL Blaze during the 2018/19 season whilst a member of the clubs U20 side, returns to the club having spent the first half of the season with NIHL1 South side, Oxford City Stars.

Prior to joining Oxford this season, Harris spent the previous two seasons (2021-23) with NIHL1 South side, Milton Keynes Thunder registering 38 points (17 goals, 21 assists), and 10 penalty-minutes in 58 appearances.

On signing for the NIHL Blaze Harris said, "I'm really looking forward to getting started and hopefully I can add to what has, so far, been a successful season for the club"

NIHL Blaze Head Coach, Sean Alderson said, “At the back end of last week we saw Ollie had become available and when we heard he might be interested in joining us we moved quickly to get him signed up before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.”

“Having worked with him before when he was part of the clubs U20 side I know what we can expect from him and I have no doubt that he will bolster our offense.”
