IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the return of 20-year-old forward, Connor Wheeldon for the 2025/26 season.

Wheeldon, who returns for his fourth season with the NIHL Blaze, registered 14 points (7 goals, 7 assists), and 8 penalty-minutes in 25 appearances last season.

On re-signing for the NIHL Blaze Wheeldon said… “I am pleased to have re-signed with the NIHL Blaze for another season.”

“After a positive season last year I know this team can win some silverware this year and I can’t wait to get going again.”

NIHL Blaze Head Coach, Sean Alderson said… “I’m pleased to have Connor back for another season, he had a mixed season last year due to injuries but despite that he still managed to average a better points per game ratio than the previous season.”

“Like his brother, we will hopefully be able to get him some more NIHL1 experience this season to assist with his development.”
