The IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the return of 26-year-old forward, Arthur Brookes, for the 2024/25 season.

Brookes, who returns for his tenth season with the NIHL Blaze, registered 14 points (10 goals, 4 assists), and 10 penalty-minutes in 12 appearances last season.

On resigning for the NIHL Blaze Brookes said…

“I strongly believe after last season the team can push for a top position after taking points of every team and making the playoff semi-final for our best ever finish.”

“The team work so well together and we are getting stronger every year and I look forward to continuing to be a part of this.”

NIHL Blaze Head Coach, Sean Alderson said…

“Arthur had a great start to last season before an injury kept him out for several months, resulting in him only featuring in a third of our fixtures. In the 12 games he did feature, however, he averaged over a point a game so if he can stay healthy for the coming season and keep that kind of form going he will be a great asset to the team.”

“Whilst out injured Arthur’s commitment to the team was fantastic, taking on a coaching role to help cover the bench when I was away with GB which led to him picking up the ‘Unsung Hero’ award at the end of season awards night.”
