Coventry NIHL Blaze are delighted to confirm that forward Jordan Bloom will return to the club for the 2026/27 season.

After joining the Blaze ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, Bloom will continue his time in Coventry colours as he looks to build on his first season with the club and play an important role in the Blaze forward group.

The 29-year-old forward brought valuable experience to the Blaze lineup last season, having previously featured across the British hockey system before making the move to Coventry. Elite Prospects lists Bloom as a right-shot forward and records his arrival at the Blaze ahead of the 2025/26 season.

During his first campaign with Coventry, Bloom featured in 18 NIHL 2 regular-season games, contributing four points, including one goal and three assists. He also appeared in cup competition, featuring in the NIHL 2 North Cup.

While his offensive numbers only tell part of the story, Bloom quickly became a valuable member of the Blaze group through his work ethic, physical presence and willingness to compete. His ability to play a reliable role within the lineup provided Head Coach Sean Alderson with another dependable option throughout the season.

Bloom’s return adds further depth and experience to a Blaze forward group that continues to take shape ahead of 2026/27, with Coventry combining established leaders alongside players looking to continue their development.

Having already settled into the Blaze environment, Bloom will now be looking to take another step forward in his second season with the club and contribute as Coventry continue their push towards challenging for silverware.

Welcome back, Jordan!
