The EIH has today announced our full league fixture list ahead of the 2026/27 season. We will compete in the NIHL2 North Laidler Division, competing in the League, League Cup and the Playoffs.

We will also be participating in this years HockeyHound Challenge Cup with the opponenents and fixtures to be confirmed soon.

This seasons Laidler Division will be made up of ten teams, including another new team to the group:

1. Altrincham Aces

2. Billingham Buccanneers

3. Bradford Bulldogs

4. Coventry NIHL Blaze

5. Deeside Dragons 2

6. Kingston Sharks

7. Nottingham Lions 2

8. Sheffield Scimitars 2 (rebranded from the Sheffield Titans)

9. Sutton Sting

10. Widnes Wild 2

Each team will play eachother once home and once away for the league title, yet again using the 3-2-1-0 points system.

The league cup however, is split up into two groups:

Group A

Billingham Buccaneers

Coventry NIHL Blaze

Deeside Dragons 2

Nottingham Lions 2

Sutton Sting

Group B

Altrincham Aces

Bradford Bulldogs

Kingston Sharks

Sheffield Scimitars 2

Widnes Wild 2

You will play each team within your group three times. Your first league home and away game against each team in your group will count towards the cup round robin phase as well. Then for your third game against the teams in your group, you will face two of the teams at home and two of the teams away.

We will face the Buccaneers and Deeside away and will take on Nottingham and Sutton at home, in those third games, which are solely for the cup and will not count towards any other competition.

The top two after those games, in each group, will advance to the Semi-Finals. And the winners then progress to the final.
