Assistant Captain - Ryan James

A continuing theme as James is another player who has been in the squad for a number of years. This season, James signed for his seventh season across the last eight years which included a brief stint with the MK Thunder. Wearing the A for his fourth straight season, James brings a wealth of experience to the captaincy team and the squad as a whole, being a player who can move up and down the line-up, being a utility player.

Assistant Captain - Joel Gavigan

And for the upcoming season, Alderson announced the addition of Joel Gavigan to the captaincy team as a new Assistant Captain. Gavigan will ice in his fourth season with the club since joining from Sheffield back in 2022. Gavigan has iced in just over 80 games in blue and in that time, has lead all defensemen in scoring in the team; scoring over fifty points. Gavigan has been named captain at each previous clubs he had played for so is no stranger to the responsibility.
